<<L’atleta Fred Harrison, 75 anni, è l’uomo più anziano che abbia mai partecipato alle Olimpiadi. In un’intervista prima della gara l’uomo dichiara all’intervistatore di non ritenersi affatto straordinario.

“Mio padre – dice – ha 105 anni e lavora ancora nella sua fattoria…oggi non è qui solo perché è testimone alle nozze di mio nonno, che del resto ha 130 anni.”

“Incredibile! – commenta l’intervistatore. – Come è possibile che un uomo di quell’età voglia sposarsi?”

“Non è che il nonno voglia – risponde Fred, – DEVE sposarsi!”>>

<<Athlete Fred Harrison, 75, is the oldest man ever to compete in the Olympics. In an interview before his race, Fred tells a reporter that he doesn’t think he is extraordinary at all.

“My dad – he says – is 105 and still works on his farm….he is not here today only because he is the best man at the wedding of my 130-years-old granddad”

“Amazing! – says the reporter. – How can it be that a man of that age wants to get married?”

“Granddad doesn’t want to get married – says Fred, – he HAS to!”>>
