<<Un paziente va dal medico dopo aver subito un’operazione nella quale gli è stata amputate una gamba.

Dopo la visita, chiede al dottore come va e il medico gli risponde: “Ho delle buone notizie e delle cattive notizie”.

“Mi dia prima le cattive notizie” dice il paziente.

“Bene – dice il dottore molto seriamente – temo che abbiamo tagliato la gamba sbagliata!”

“E quali sono le buone notizie?” urla il paziente.

“L’altra gamba sta migliorando” risponde il medico sorridendo. >>

<<A patient went to the doctor after an operation in which his leg had been cut off.

After the visit he asked the doctor how he was and the doctor answered: “I’ve got some good news and some bad news”.

“Give me the bad news first” said the patient.

“Well – said the doctor very concerned – I’m afraid we have cut off the wrong leg!”

“And what’s the good news?” cried the patient.

“Your other leg is getting better” answered the doctor smiling.>>
